Pets are part of our family and they rely on us to keep them healthy. That's why I started PAWS4Health almost 20 years ago. I'd lost my three Airedales (Above: {L-R} Kori, Kali, and the Dutchess) to cancer and I wanted to know why  - canine cancer had been practically unheard of until dogs started eating processed pet foods. So I researched pet food, and canine cancer. My research led me to a number of diets for my poochies until we finally settled on raw, fresh frozen meat - the closest I could get to what they eat in the wild. I was so passionate about it, I started PAWS4Health to sell it! In fact, I was the first person to bring fresh frozen Canadian-made raw pet food into Nova Scotia!

I sold the fresh frozen part of the business in 2012. We’d had a power outage and my customers and I wanted something... less prone to spoilage. Which is how I came across raw, dehydrated pet food: ALL the health benefits of frozen raw dog food, with the convenience of a kibble! Even better, my dogs love it, which is always the true test.
